A B O U T
A design house FOR families WHO live BETWEEN CULTURES.
Chouette is for people raising children across cities, languages, and histories. For those who bring babies into museums and cafés, onto trains and across borders. For families who remain present in public life, not withdrawn from it.
We believe family life is part of culture. Not adjacent to it, not a softer version of it — part of it. The city guide that ignores children ignores a third of how a city is actually used. Chouette is built around what that oversight leaves out.
Our essays, guides, and criticism move through streets and stations, architecture, food, and civic life. Our objects are designed for movement and care in public space, made with attention to form, material, and use.
